The History Of FineLine

FineLine was founded in 1942 as an architectural joinery company and for many years made timber system buildings, many of which are still in use today throughout the UK.

In 1984 FineLine became a specialist PVC-U windows and door fabricator and installer, using high quality commercially renowned products. Today we maintain the same high standard of quality window systems, which include the L.B. Sheerframe 7000 system and the Spectus 70mm Elite PVC-U systems as well as the SAPA aluminium system.

In addition we are able to supply a range of high profile architectural aluminium systems to suit both domestic and commercial installations.

In September 2006, FineLine Windows was acquired by A & B Glass Co. Ltd of Sudbury Suffolk. The major benefits to FineLine were typical of larger group companies including massive reinvestment that would enhance both our range, quality and ability to deliver and complete on time installations.

This will further assist FineLine Windows in expanding it's Commercial business to the benefit of both client and supplier.

Our increasing network of customers now include Kent County Council, Swale Housing Association, Ashford Borough Council, MHS Homes, Hyde Housing Association, The Peabody Trust Royal Marsden Hospital, South Kent Hospital Trust, hailstone Borough Council and the London Borough's of Greenwich, Wandsworth, Waltham Forest, Lambeth, Barnet and The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea to name but a few.
